Kindred Day Dunedin

Garden clubs from across Otago gather in Dunedin for the biennial Kindred Day, a long-running event that connects gardeners throughout the region since it began in Sawyers Bay in 1980. Hosted this year by Heritage Roses Otago, the day is expected to attract up to 200 attendees from around 60 garden clubs. The programme includes guest speakers, plant sales (with each attendee bringing two plants to share), raffles, morning and afternoon tea, and visits to local gardens.
